Resort Watersports offers Year Round Kayak Lessons on Mission Bay behind the Catamaran Resort and the Bahia Hotel! $50 includes a lesson, 30 minutes of kayaking with an instructor, and an additional hour of kayaking alone. Lessons are taught in a single sit on top kayak. Class covers 5 basic strokes, entering and exiting kayak, turning 180 degrees, edging, and self rescue. Bring a hat and sunscreen. Wear a bathing suit or clothes you dont mind getting damp. You shouldnt get very wet if you do not capsize. Once you have taken a lesson you may purchase 5 hours of kayaking for $60. This can be broken up between days with a minimum usage of 1 hour per outing.
