| Resort Watersports offers year round sailing lessons for $50. $50 includes a lesson, 30 minutes of sailing with an instructor, and an additional hour of sailing alone. Additional people can do it for only $10. Lessons are taught on a 14' capsize resistant sailboat with an adjustable sail plan, which makes learning a breeze! The lesson covers reading the wind, weight placement in sailboat, upwind sailing, downwind sailing, docking and rules of right-of-way. Bring sunscreen and a sweatshirt and wear shoes with rubber soles. Once you have taken a lesson, you can purchase 5 hours of sailing for $80. This can be broken up between days, with a minimum usage of 1 hour per outing.
